Keytars reached their height of popularity in the 1980’s, They were strongly associated with the New Wave music of the time and now. Basically if you played a keytar your automatically a sexy bitch !
The resume of keytar playing musicians is lengthy from DEVO to LADY GAGA and back to SHY CHILD and many others electronic acts. Nothing says I AM SHIT !! Like strutting out on stage caressing the long smooth neck of a Yamaha SHS-10.

Apparently Kirill has been killing it for more than a year in NYC and I was oblivious. There are so many nightlife photo bloggers and 75% are not worth mentioning but then a shining star arises from amongst the empty bottles and drink tickets. His photography has a certain richness and when he shoots he captures that energy that makes a great party.

What do you get if you take Nastassja Kinski, Malcolm McDowell, David Bowie and Black Panthers (the feline variety) and stir them all together in a big pot ? Answer : Hot Sex !!

Cat people is the story of a woman (Nastassja Kinski) who turns in to a black panther when sexually aroused and can only revert to human form after taking a human life. “Not so bad” you say. Theres a catch, your brother who suffers from the same ancient curse and wants to do incestuous acts with you because when having sex with their own kind they can keep their human form.

Seems complicated right ? Well I suggest you ignore the plot and sit back and enjoy transformation scenes, hot sex (did already say that) and if thats not enough ! A hot track by David Bowie (putting out fire with gasoline, which you probaly remember from Inglourious Basterds). This movie is so 80’s it hurts, all the way down to the type treatment in the title sequence.

So i was at the Of Montreal show the other day and i looked around and realized…WTF?!?!? I’m surrounded by bro’s. Real douchebag’s…the kind who get in your way texting and walking at the same time or that just might rape a girl if shes drunk enough not to remember. Where are all the funny looking bisexual pseudo hippies and acid kids that should be milling around at an Of Montreal show? Five years ahead of me that’s where. They knew better…once a band gets sold out their fanbase becomes SHITTY. Look at Metallica…no self respecting person these days likes Metallica. Yet for some reason, they are still making records that more than ten people buy. Who are these people? One scientist suggests that the NYPD may be responsible for most shitty rock bands that should have died a long time ago still making revenue. So if your reading this kids, don’t ever go to a Pearl Jam concert…it will be like a police convention. And if you don’t like bro’s or other annoying fucking people, you might want to avoid such things as Girltalk, Vampire Weekend, Dan Deacon, dubstep or hardstyle. Kanye West never counts as being a sellout, as he will let you finish.
