Friday, March 27th, 2009The Native American Collection was inspired by WrecordsByMonkey’s respect for culture and the heritage of their country. The bracelets reflect WBM’s interpretation of traditional Native American design. The pieces encompass traditional as well as contemporary design, with imagery ranging from warrior scenes, totem poles and artisan creations. The bracelets use designes from the Pacific Northwest, Sioux, Tsimshian, Kwakiutl, Mimbres, Hopi, Acoma, and Laugna tribes.
The Classic Patterns Collection is to pay homage to the textiles industry. The bracelets come in four designs: lumberjack plaid, Arabic scarf “kofia”, hounds tooth and French Toile. It’s offered in 2 colors schemes that stay true to the traditional patterns while adding a modern twist.
